Job Description Overview:

Drive large heavy-duty electric vehicles, including large Class 8 on-road trucks, yard tractors, port cargo handling vehicles and school buses. The driving will be done in the Southwest region, primarily in San Diego County. Occasional assignments to Los Angeles County, or other regions.

Trips will be to test drive vehicles and give valuable feed back to the TransPower team.  May also pick up equipment and deliver or demonstrate vehicles. The trips will vary anywhere from a few hours to several days or longer.

It is key for this role to accurately document all drive cycles using TransPower supplied drivers log.

While driving TransPower vehicles, will serve as a company advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.

When not driving, may be asked to perform general shop maintenance or shuttle parts between our two facilities

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Description Overview:

Perform a number of complex, but repetitive electromechanical assembly operations, entailing a number of electronic and mechanical parts, components, cable harnesses and other assemblies.  May be required to use the following tools to complete tasks: hand tools, drills, MIG/TIG welders, Oxy acetylene, lathe, mill, soldering guns, screwdrivers, precision measuring instruments, and other various standard handheld tools. Some kneeling, squatting and standing is required.
