Within the energy technologies sector, primary areas of interest include:
- Technology to make existing energy companies more efficient
- Alternative energy technologies
- Products and components developed to promote energy efficiency
- Other energy related technologies
Technology Partners typically prefers earlier stage ventures, but will consider later-stage rounds if the opportunities are compelling and in areas of strategic interest. Typical initial investment is in the $2-8 million range with total investment per company up to $25 million.
